MISSISSAUGAWATCH, with Mayor/Councillors offices locked, is instructed to go to Security, June 22, 2012

Just for the record, when I’m dealing with Security, I better have a video camera on and —this .

MISSISSAUGAWATCH, inside City of Mississauga Corporate Security office, June 22, 2012

Hi there. I need to go into Council Chambers [sic]. Apparently it’s locked, yeah. So I was told that someone from Security would have to let me in.

No! Sorry! Not Council Chambers. Third floor. To see the Mayor and Council [sic].  I want to drop off a cheque.

Subject: Donation to City of Mississauga

Hi Ursula, the donation cheque in the amount of $650 that you provided to Acting Mayor Tovey’s office last week has been forwarded to me.  I have deposited your donation in an appropriate City account and will be mailing a copy of your receipt to you.

I want to stress again to you, that this donation is not required.  All citizens of Mississauga have the right to request an investigation by the City’s Integrity Commissioner, and there is no charge for this.  As Mr. Rust-D’Eye confirmed to you in his email dated June 19, 2012 “The City does not charge complainants for the cost of the time of the Integrity Commissioner and an offer to do so would not be a relevant consideration in the performance by the Integrity Commissioner, (whoever it may be), of the responsibilities conferred on her or him, by the Municipal Act, City Council, an otherwise by law”.

Crystal Greer
Director of Legislative Services and City Clerk
City of Mississauga

Signed,
MISSISSAUGAWATCH
