UPDATE  Monday, June 28, 2010. Someone just subscribed to me over at YouTube. When that happens I always check out their channel to see if I want to subscribe back. Found this and several other videos. He shot this video on the front line that was approaching the front lines of police. The video has the subtitle, “Mississauga Truth Movement”. He now has a new subscriber.

You really need to watch this video of what I suspect was the Saturday night protest.  A Mississauga youth on the front lines! Please click here to see all of Mississauga Truth Movement’s channel

UPDATE  June 29, 2010  Photo from CTV of the graffiti clean up. Yesterday afternoon I returned to Bay and King to see how long it took Toronto to remove the graffiti that I had documented. All gone save ghost images. Except the graffiti on the Bank of Montreal windows. Couldn’t document their removal. No windows!

The videos you posted on youtube, were, in my opinion, a very uninformed perspective, and strangely were all filmed prior to any arrests being carried out by Security Services in Toronto. Your videos, however, showed relatively serious destruction, yet no arrests or confrontations were occuring with Police. Does this strike you as odd, or do you pick up on those nuances when looking at a situation? I’m just truly curious, as your site seems like you put time into this type of activity, and yet the information and perspective you spread is alarmingly misinformed. Are you sponsored by any group, governmental or otherwise? Truly bewildered, and if you can post a reply on your forum I think it would be widely appreciated.

    Sincerely and Respectfully:

    Thanks for your comment.

First, are you sure that arrests were carried out by “Security Services” instead of Police Services? I’ve been watching videos of fellow YouTubers and any arrests I’ve seen were initiated by Police.

Next, true. To my knowledge all my video was before any arrests were made.

If you remember it was warm and humid and those officers were in heavy riot gear and on their feet all day. I figured by evening, much of their patience would’ve been dangerously-depleted and that the Black Bloc would be back under darkness.

Black Bloc plus darkness is Danger enough. Add tired, justifiably-potentially crabby police and well, I wished the officers a safe night and ****ed off to videotape another day.

I videotaped two confrontations with Police, one simple yelling –the Police ignored it. The other, a group of protesters sat in the middle of Bay and King and were told to move. They didn’t. So they were made to move. One loudmouth got even more belligerent and even a tad physically aggressive. The Police remained professional.

But regarding the torching and trashing of the police cars, no, I did not find it odd that the Police didn’t intervene. It was only Property damage. Had Police attempted arrest of Black Bloc, they could’ve incited a small riot or even worse, a stampede. I actually experienced a very small, brief one but I understand exactly what the Police wanted to avoid.

They were in Watchful Waiting mode (including six of their horses). However, once the Black Block melted into the crowd and only real protesters and by-standers were left, a few officers came and moved us away so the fire department could douse the flames.

Last you asked, “Are you sponsored by any group, governmental or otherwise?” Nope. Retired. And powerfully-motivated to expose the evil and hypocrisy of Ontario municipal governance. I’m unique in that I research through Freedom of Information. And video. So anything that I write can be backed up either with government documents/emails or video/audio.

At the risk of sounding alarmingly arrogant, you apparently are unfamiliar with how the police often times put people into protest crowds to cause destruction, and ultimately give them a reason to close in and arrest them. A few things you should not about the events in toronto, number one the car was strangely abandoned a safe distance from any buildings preventing any real possible danger, number two….gas tanks explode clearly there was little if any gas in this car, number three I strongly suggest you take a look at this picture http://img191.imageshack.us/i/relaxedv.jpg/ where you can see 2 so called anarchists…high fiving after detroying a cop car…you may or may not notice that one of them is wearing nike track pants…kind of odd seeing as to how Nike has been a target of several protest movements for decades.

One, you aren’t sounding “alarmingly arrogant” and second you’re right, I’d forgotten about Montebello. This morning, fellow YouTuber, CanadiansNanaimo sent along a reminder and shared his video with me.

That’s the Power of Video. Seeing is Believing! Holy Jumping! I have zero doubt that the three goonz were Police Provocateurs at Montebello. I have zero doubt that the police closest to them knew that too. Those Montreal Police creeps truly deserve the slur “PIGS”!

However, what I videotaped non-stop (the entire time from down Bay to King, the torching and being led out by Police) I’ve already analyzed. They were youth too young to be actual police. Doesn’t mean they weren’t planted but… we’ve got enough youth in a one hundred mile radius only too happy to total a police cruiser or three.

Um. Those cars were parked in the middle of an intersection where you’d fully expect to park cruisers to block advancement south. I’d park the cars there too and I’m not even a police officer. And I’d park them right there so people can see the flashing lights anywhere along King as well as Bay. Maximum viewing. Dead centre.

The police were moving us off warning us the cars would explode. And there was a *POP* just shortly after he told us. Scared the officer more than it did me. I think it was a tire that blew.

I fail to see why you’d call these two males “anarchists”? Why? Because they wore black and masks? When I go kayaking in Hawaii, I bring Old Glory on board just in case of Emergency. Doesn’t make me American! Just smart enough to know that our Friends to the South are powerfully-motivated to save their Own!

    Best wishes.

And yeah. You bet! That Montebello provocateur thing was pure-slime. Hope the they got fired! Our Police don’t need PIGS in their ranks any more than us-citizens who support Police do!
